BLUE was an interactive, immersive paper installation resembling an abstract ocean. The installation invited the Dallas community to draw a childhood memory. A video of the deep ocean was projected into the experience while having sound waves within the installation. BLUE took place at the Dallas Vickery Park Branch Library situated in a nontraditional space, creating an inclusive piece of art that was free and open to the general public, this area has 20 to 30% of the population is from El Salvador. Sponsored by the city of Dallas Arts and Culture in 2024.
